1. Legal Qualification

Aurora Credits are closed-loop digital vouchers (multi-purpose vouchers). They are intended for use exclusively within the Aurora partner ecosystem for digital goods and services.

Aurora Credits are not a form of investment, not a cryptocurrency, and not electronic money. They cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to any bank account.

2. Core Usage Rules

• No Fiat Refunds: Aurora Credits cannot be converted back to fiat currencies (EUR/USD/etc.). This classification ensures compliance with PSD2 exemptions.
• Non-Transferable: Credits are tied to an individual account. You may not send credits to other Aurora users or sell them on external platforms.
• 24-Month Expiration: Credits expire 24 months after the last account activity (top-up or spend). Users will receive an email warning 30 days prior to expiration.
• Credit Hold Cap: Default accounts are limited to a maximum balance of 500 credits (€50) to mitigate risk and ensure AML compliance.

3. KYC and Compliance

Aurora operates under tiered limits to ensure security and regulatory compliance:

• Unverified Tier: Up to 500 credits hold, €100 lifetime spend.
• Verified Tier (KYC): Requires ID verification and proof of address. Limits increased to 5,000 credits hold and higher spend caps.

4. Partner Availability

Aurora provides the credit system but does not guarantee the availability or performance of any specific partner service. If a partner ceases operations, your Aurora Credits remain valid for use with any other active partner in the ecosystem.

5. Chargeback Policy

Initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer will result in an immediate suspension of your Aurora account and reversal of any related credits. We encourage users to contact our support team first to resolve any billing issues.

6. Dispute Resolution

For any disputes, please contact [email protected]. We aim to respond within 48 hours. By using this service, you agree to attempt mediation prior to any legal proceedings.
